Why it matters
Owned FSD is the best deal left in a used Tesla.
Since February 14, 2026, Tesla sells FSD (Supervised) in the US by subscription only. Cars whose first owner bought it outright keep it for the next owner. Most of those listings never say so, and the well-priced ones go fast.
- Listings rarely tell you. FSD Radar reads the factory build data and lists only cars that show the FSD option.

A verdict for every car, with the reason
Build data or seller text alone never makes a car owned: that takes Tesla's own record, such as the owner's Tesla app. So most listings say Needs check, and the car page shows what settles it. HW3 or AI4 is named when the build shows it.

What is FSD Radar?
FSD Radar finds used Teslas with Full Self-Driving already attached. It is in private beta now: a finder of used Teslas whose factory build data lists FSD, from a licensed listings feed of dealers across the US, with a verdict and the reason for each car, its price against similar listings, its recalls, and alerts for your saved searches. Public launch is planned for about December 2026.
Is FSD Radar live yet?
It is in private beta: invite only for now, and founding presale buyers get access when they pay. The public launch is planned for about December 2026. Does FSD transfer to the new owner of a used Tesla?
FSD the original owner bought outright stays with the car when it is sold, unless they moved it to a new Tesla first. A monthly subscription ends with the old owner. FSD that came with the Luxe Package can also end when ownership changes, depending on when the car was ordered. FSD Radar shows which case the evidence points to, and what to ask when the listing cannot tell.
What is the difference between owned FSD and an FSD subscription?
Owned FSD was bought outright before Tesla stopped selling it on February 14, 2026, and it belongs to the car. A subscription belongs to the driver and costs $99 a month in the US. A listing photo of the car's screen can show FSD in both cases, so the photo alone does not tell you what you are buying.
How fast are the alerts?
Hunt Pass and Lifetime alerts go out by push or email within a minute of our scan finding a match. In the beta the scan of the listings feed runs once a day. Free accounts see matches after a 12-hour delay, in a daily email.
Which listings do you scan?
Today: a licensed listings feed of used Teslas for sale at dealers across the US, narrowed to cars whose factory build data lists FSD. More sources are planned for launch. Found a car anywhere else, a private sale included? Paste it into the Listing Check, or try the free FSD checker.
What else does FSD Radar check besides FSD?
Enhanced Autopilot, Acceleration Boost and free Supercharging that stays with the car, when the evidence shows them, and the computer (HW3 or AI4) when the build data names it. Each car page also compares the asking price with similar listings and lists NHTSA recalls and owner complaints for its model year.
How much does FSD Radar cost?
Browsing will be free. The Hunt Pass is $19 once for 90 days of instant alerts and full reports, and your 90 days start when you activate it. Founding Lifetime is $79 once, limited to 35 seats. Neither renews. See pricing
Can I get a refund?
Yes. The Hunt Pass refunds in full with one click on your private pass page until you switch it on; the link is on your emailed receipt. Founding Lifetime refunds the same way before launch or within 14 days of purchase, whichever is later. If it does not work as described, email us within 14 days and we will fix it or refund you. And if FSD Radar is not live for founders by March 31, 2027, every founder is refunded in full without having to ask.
Do I need to download an app?
No. FSD Radar runs in your web browser on a phone or computer. On iPhone, add it to your Home Screen to receive alert notifications. Android and desktop browsers can receive them directly, and alerts can also come by email.
How accurate is it?
Every verdict shows its reason and the evidence behind it, and we say FSD indicated rather than promising it. Build data or seller text alone never makes a car Owned FSD indicated: that needs Tesla's own record, such as the owner's Tesla app or Tesla's own listing. So many cars say Needs check, with the questions that settle it. Always confirm with the seller before you buy.
What if I do not find a car?
Your 90 days only start when you switch them on, so pick the moment your search starts. If FSD Radar does not work as described, email us within 14 days for a fix or a refund.
