What is FSD Radar?
FSD Radar is a search and alert tool for used Teslas with Full Self-Driving already attached. It scans used-car listings, reads the software screen in listing photos, checks the VIN build record and tells you whether the FSD is owned, a subscription or transferred away.
Does FSD transfer to the new owner of a used Tesla?
FSD the original owner bought outright stays with the car when it is sold, unless they moved it to a new Tesla first. A monthly subscription ends with the old owner. FSD that came with the Luxe Package can also end when ownership changes, depending on when the car was ordered. FSD Radar shows which case applies, with the evidence.
What is the difference between owned FSD and an FSD subscription?
Owned FSD was bought outright before Tesla stopped selling it on February 14, 2026, and it belongs to the car. A subscription belongs to the driver and costs $99 a month in the US. A listing photo of the car's screen can show FSD in both cases, so the photo alone does not tell you what you are buying.
When does FSD Radar launch?
We are building it now and have not set a public date. People on the waitlist get the first beta invitations and hear about launch before anyone else.
How much will FSD Radar cost?
Browsing listings will be free. Pricing for instant alerts and full reports will be announced at launch, and waitlist members will see it first.
Is FSD Radar affiliated with Tesla?
No. FSD Radar is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Tesla, Inc.
Do I need to download an app?
No. FSD Radar runs in your web browser on a phone or computer. On iPhone, add it to your Home Screen to receive alert notifications. Android and desktop browsers can receive them directly.
